For hot and humid south central and southeastern parts of the US, we might recommend dehumidifier. Too much humidity can lead to mold issues, plant diseases, and premature degradation of various components of the Growing Dome.

Ideal-Air™ Pro Series have automatic restart if power is lost. Ideal-Air™ recommends that dehumidifiers use surge protectors and a dedicated electrical circuit. In the event of a power failure, a spike in voltage may occur when the power is reinstated. This can damage the circuit board, which is not covered under warranty.
